Michael Burrows graduated from the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016, with a background in massage therapy. Michael has a great understanding of movement mechanics and injuries related to many sports, having previously worked as part of a team supporting semi-professional footballers and boxers.
Using a structural approach Michael’s first aim is to relieve pain, using a variety of techniques such stretching, massage, joint manipulation and acupuncture. Working on the principle that structure governs function he will identify imbalances and work with your individual needs to rehabilitate and strengthen areas of weakness.
Michael believes that although not everyone is an athlete, they should be able to perform at their best in daily activities and not be limited by pain or apprehension. His focus will be on helping you reach your goals whether it be walking to the shops without pain or reaching the top in your chosen sport.
