What is Tibetan Yoga?
With various similarities to Qi Gong and Tai Chi, Tibetan Yoga combines moves and meditation with several elements of more conventional yoga forms. Tibetan Yoga incorporates smooth, flowing dynamic postures and rest in sitting meditation to enhance your general all round fitness.
Tibetan Yoga can be used to improve mental clarity and energy levels as well as enhancing bodily flexibility, balance and strength. Our course of treatment is relevant for anyone who has just a few minutes for regular practice and wants to effectively manage their lifestyle and the stressful demands of living in an urban environment.
Antenatal Tibetan Yoga
The Fairlee Wellbeing Centre has devised a program of Antenatal Tibetan Yoga to help the patient to better adapt and cope with the changes that your body undergoes during the course of your pregnancy, and to help you prepare for the birth itself. Each posture is carefully structured to help you to develop and improve your sense of balance, co-ordination and general fitness levels.
The program is safe for you to begin so long as your pregnancy is in a stable condition, and we advise you to consult your doctor before beginning any physical therapy. Sessions are designed to be as relevant and responsive as possible to your individual needs and requirements, and are flexible by nature. Overall, we aim to support your core muscle stability and allow you to use your breath efficiently in order for you to maintain your stamina for longer and promote relaxation.
