This is a moving meditative yoga similar to Qi Gong or Tai Chi and shares elements of conventional forms of yoga. Developed out of a Trantric Yoga tradition these flowing dynamic postures are designed to promote your general fitness levels by increasing mental clarity, energy, physical flexibility, balance and strength whilst improving your ability to rest in sitting meditation. Tibetan Yoga is for anyone able to find a few minutes to practise regularly and is looking for a considered way to tackle the demands of urban living.
Antenatal Tibetan Yoga is a program devised to help you adapt to the changes in your body throughout your pregnancy and prepare for the birth. The postures are structured to develop your sense of balance, co-ordination and general fitness levels. They are safe for you to start as long as your pregnancy is stable. These sessions are designed to flexibly respond to your individual needs. They focus on supporting your core muscle stability whilst enabling efficient use of your breath to maintain your stamina and promote relaxation.
