My interest in massage was inspired, by a chronic neck injury that I suffered from when I was younger. I spent years seeing an osteopath and having deep massage and started practising yoga after a trip to India. This not only helped me deeply but sparked my interest in massage and yoga together with a strong desire to heal people effectively using these disciplines.
I qualified as a Therapeutic Masseuse from the London College of Massage in 2003 and I was interested in extending my work to include mothers and children and took post graduate qualifications in Pregnancy and Labour massage (London College of Massage 2003 and Body Basics 2004).
After 2 years in practice and as part of my ongoing interest in combining this with yoga, I travelled to Kerala, India to study Ayurvedic Yoga massage, which I qualified in 3 years ago. This discipline has only just become available in the UK and combines my two great loves, massage and yoga. I am deeply passionate about my work and the incredible benefits it can bring and make to your life.
Having become a mother myself I have personal experience in pre and post-natal care and the huge importance of massage towards the wellbeing of mother and child.
