Practitioner: Geeta Vara

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda, the ancient ‘science of life’ is the sister science of yoga and dates back over 5000 years. Ayurvedic philosophy believes that all disease begins with an imbalance in the individual’s physical, mental or spiritual being and often in some combination. Bring your unique constitution (vata, pitta, kapha) back into balance with Ayurveda for a total sense of wellbeing.

A key focus of ayurveda is the cleansing the toxins out of the body and mind and focus on the strengthening the digestive fires (agni) as the first step to optimal wellbeing. Your initial consultation will get you started on this straight away, helping you to feel lighter and brighter. Whether you are looking for advice on eating right for your body type, a treatment to bring back balance or need help with a particular health concern, Ayurveda is able to benefit everyone.

How can I benefit?
